Gallery artist Jan Wattjes participated in the De Nieuwe Rembrandt, a new talent show for artists on Dutch TV with his painting My Artistic Family, 2010. 'A fantastic painting', according to the jury president Hester Alberdink Thijm, directeur AkzoNobel Art Foundation.

Jan Wattjes was one of the 20 winners in the first round and will participate again next week, this time with a self-portrait! See the first episode featuring Jan Wattjes using this link. An installation of paintings by Jan Wattjes will be on view at the gallery in May/June, opening 6 May 2012.
